The department mainly consists of art based subjects i.e. History, Geography and C.R.E. they are major components for careers that are in modern times referred to as social sciences.
Performance in the department has been sterling over the last several decades. Indeed, the aggregate mean of humanities has a direct bearing on the school mean in K.C.S.E. it is for this reason that we encourage our students to maximize on their performance in these subjects. On this, our students have not let us down and they have registered an exponential improvement index over time.
All students in form one and two must take all the three humanities. However, in form two second term the subjects are elective and the learners select two out of the three according to their performance.
Career choices open for those who perform well in Humanities include Architecture, Law, Pilots and Teaching to name just but a few.
